Customer Testimonials
We stopped in recently and picked up one of your store’s homemade chicken pot pies and a three-berry cobbler. WONDERFUL! Today we picked up another cobbler to bring to Atlanta with us as we head back home to Florida. Keep up the great work and stay small town forever!
Really friendly staff at Ward’s. We’ve been going there for years and it just never changes. The food is right off the grill and served with a smile. The prices are too good to be true and haven’t changed in years. Always fun to browse the general store adjacent to the grill. We’ll be back soon!
Ate lunch there while visiting in the area. Looking at the menu brought back memories. They also have a great store next door that sells fresh-cut meats and all kinds of local canned goodies. I had to get a couple jars of their apple butter and rhubarb-strawberry jam for home.
This place is a local “institution” and gathering place for good food and even better conversation. The staff is friendly and they seem to have been at Ward’s almost forever. Always a greeting with a smile. Really good food without breaking the bank. Difficult to spend over $8.00 for food and drink.
After your meal, step back in time with a visit to the general store right next door. We’ve been to Ward’s on several visits and plan to be back soon.
